Happily retired from 36 years of Physics teaching, I’ve now presented over 1000 programmes of Folk ‘n’ That since a nervous start back in ’97. The aim each Wednesday is to include new and topical folk material ensuring the presence of big and small and uillean pipes, good guitar, gaelic song, male/ female/ group song and instrumental – mainly Scots and Irish but lots of other stuff too! ….and the ” ‘n’ That ” bit gives a bit of licence to get away with anything else I fancy, which I trust you’ll enjoy. That pattern is gladly broken when there are recorded concerts to bring or live studio guests – I’ve even been known to sing and play on air myself! Oh dear!
