An eclectic mix of music that integrates different genres and styles and many different eras. The show often has a specific theme, which can be anything: colours, family, countries etc. Sometimes there will be a special feature for the show, which could be several tracks from one artist or band. The one consistent feature, however, is variety: rock, electro, pop, you name it, it could be on the show. The current number one of any given week may feature on a show, but that same show would most likely also have tunes from the 60s, 70s or the 80s. Many new or emerging – sometimes local – artists have the chance to be played on the show and this is why there is something for everyone, and always a real MiXx of Music.
